 Nov 21, 2009 [Project Description] CarEEEr Talk 2010 is the primer of graduating students on how the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering plays its role in the real world. It sets down their options on the table after the graduation day. The event will illustrate the big picture of the industry and how every attendee can be part of it. One big leap – from college to a career. [Objectives] CarEEEr Talk aims to • give students an overview of career paths in the field of Electrical, Computer and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science • prepare graduating students for job hunting • extend job opportunities to engineering students from UP and other universities • build a community that would break the divide between fresh graduates and employers • offer options as alternatives to landing a job [The Big Day] The event will be held on March 8, 2009, Monday, at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (EEEI) Building in UP Diliman.
